My guess: The plane was shot down by the F-16s. This is why there is so much conflicting info. They want to cover the truth.

Your guess is a load of crap and an insult to the memory of two persons I lost as friends in this tragedy. If you knew the slightest thing about planes, you would know there would be nothing left to fly into a hillside if a missile had taken it out. Please do not speculate in your ignorance.

good thinking my friend, but then again if you were an F-16 pilot trying to shoot down an aircraft at an area that can be easily seen by viewers on the grownd, whould you use a missile (that can be seen by everybody) or the guns....?
