Those people seem to be pretty upset with the possibility of losing something which is not theirs to begin with! If they are so sensitive how come they didn't have a problem to buy properties stolen from innocent people at gun point?

What goes around, comes around ... as some might say.

"Once again Builders are going bust in Northern cyprus, when properties have been bought and paid for by British people looking for a more peaceful way of life, only to find that local building companies

run up large debts with tradesmen, and landowners, so that all claims for compensation is acheived by

withholding titles, to be used as bargaining chips along with the properties, that have already been paid for. I have heard this year alone of a building company going bust, and all 13 expats who purchased on the site waiting for the notice to quit, so that the properties can be auctioned to pay the builders and the landowners debts. This includes property that is already occupied by the purchases, who have registered contracts, but do not have the deeds to their properties or plots.

This makes 52 families in the last 18 months that have suffered the same fate, with absolutely no

refund or compensation what so ever so the purchase price of £ 135000 is lost."

i think vaughanie's gonna have to go and say confession quick - in one of those churches he frequents (without any problems) in kyrenia - 'cos it looks as though divine providence is catching up with the carpet munchers.
