We like to visit Troodos and Omodos in the summer. It's a nice little village with few tourists (compared to the bigger towns/villages)

IMO Platres is the best.

The only reason I say nothing about Platres is that I do not know it well enough to comment: there is of course the popular Trout Farm, which is well worth a visit, and I am not going to argue that one place is better than another,

However the whole of the upland area is worth visiting , as there are many scenic villages, many excellent taverna's etc.m and it is all so close!
