I have to say with no bias at all that Due 35 on Makarios III Avenue is my favourite bar.

Actually I have to say that my bar is not yet the best in Limassol. I am still working on the decor, the menu and the service levels etc. I will have it as one of the best in the not too distant future!

I hae been to the Ship Inn but not the others so far mentioned. I'll have to go and see the others too.

Is your bar a big one? For lots of traffic quickly you might need the "right people". These are the people that can move a lot of others with them. Then the rest of the people can see that your bar has traffic and even more come. Cypriots like to go to places that are full. Sometimes you can see a cafe that is full and next to it one that is empty! :shock:

2. Chesters (Good food and mixed atmospheare)
3. Mollie Malones (Excellent food)

I have spent a lot of time researching this topic, and after extensive beer drinking, and socialising I would have to say that GYPSEY WESTERN BAR is the best.

Very chilled, and most importantly NO R&B!!

I am not a big bar, but two floors. I have not started changing upstairs yet.. in time I will create a chill out area.

You are right about the circle of friends thing... but I don't want that kind of client. I want people to come because they ike the food, the music, the staff and the atmoshere.

I will check out these other bars.. it's nice to get out of my bar once in a while..

They need a rare groove bar in Cyprus. I dont think Cyprus has ONE bar which you can say is 'cool'.
