Thanks. There was an article about it today. They say this is the biggest and best Cyprus Olympic team so far.
Do you think we will manage to be in any of the finals?

Both ;)
Cyprus only has 19 athletes, most of whom will not go very far. So when they compete you can support them, and support the USA for everything else :)

Do you have a Cyprus citizenship? If you do, then you can. If at least one of your parents is Cypriot then again you can get the citizenship and compete for Cyprus.

Of course you also need to meet the requirements for the Olympics. I guess it is much easier to be in the Cyprus Olympic team rather than the USA one though. Are you really that good?

USA gets a ton of medals. Cyprus never got one. So in Cyprus you will get a lot of publicity just for competing, and if you get a medal (even bronze) you will be a hero :)

I am not sure if we have "olympic trials" in Cyprus. I believe that athletes should get the time needed for the olympics in any official event before the Olympics and thats enough.

If you are serious then you should ask people that can give you more authoritative answers.
