I understand from WikiPedia that Pepsi did not sell soft drinks in Israel until 1991.

From the same source I gather the name is thought to derive from the fact it was made with pepsin and Kola nuts.

Pepsin is an enzyme whose precursor form (pepsinogen) is released by the chief cells in the stomach and that degrades food proteins into peptides. It was discovered in 1836 by Theodor Schwann who also coined its name from the Greek word pepsis, meaning digestion (peptein: to digest).

Exactly !!!!!!!!!!!! my point

he said ( if you googled pepsi this is what you will find ) he didnt make it up, he mainly talk to young people ( internet users ) and this interview is old mate, it goes back to the last attack on Gaza, the Arabs wanted to join up trying to stop the unfair killing of innocents, one of the effective ways to do so is to say no to American-Israeli products... Millions of Arab help their economy because we use their products...

Im afraid to say im not in a position to explain what this great man trying to say specially if the whole video been corrupted to a disgusting limit.... this is a 3-4 min out of an hour and half interview, he was trying to get an info in a simple way to the youngesters....
