Turkey's Foreign trade deficit soars by 79.2 percent in June

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Rome was not built in a day and Turkeys economy did not start with the current government.

Thre is a worrying trend here that VP refuses to see. Turkey has become the base of convenience for foreign manufacturing. There is very little original Turkish innovation input in the products being exported. As these foreign investors find their business contracting they will decrease their business in Turkey or might pull out altogether.

It would enlighten Vp to investigate how many Italian firms have moved part of their manufacturing to Turkey. As did UK firms and others. Rising freight rates are enough to knock out the advantage of Turkish based manufacturing. A decrease in domestic salaries in investing countries will diminish the advantages even further. And how long will Turkish workers be happy with 1/5 of Italian salaries?

I am not gloating over this. The prospect of a slowdown or worse in Turkey's economy will mean bad news for the region. Because the usual remedy for internal problems is to fuel tensions with neighbors.

Turkey's Central Bank moves to halt decline of lira

The meeting comes as concerns over European sovereign debt and U.S. public finances coincide with worries over Turkey’s gaping current account deficit. The U.S. dollar was trading above 1.70 liras on Wednesday, as foreign investors dumped Turkish assets.

You have been predicting this for years yet never saw what was happening in Greece a EU member state cooking the books. Although things are not perfect in Turkey it is not as bad you want them to be plus where in the world is perfect? dont you think everyone would want to live there?

Really.?

Being told "who do you think you are and kept and maintained (kept parasites)", being made a minority in the north where the settlers will take over from you soon with the blessing of Turkey and you think that's what an ally does.?

Only a Turk would think that way and not a TC.
