WaterMania... - a great park?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Until 31st of October? Isn’t it too cold to go there in the end of October?
I went to Ayia Napa water park several years ago.
I could not say it gave an impression of the greatest waterpark.
We had to wait in long lines to get to the slides, that was quite annoying. To get to one of the games (supposedly the coolest one) we had to wait for 1 hour in a line! And that was nothing really special.

i havent heard many good things about the one in ayia napa or anywhere else really and even in watermania on the most busiest days, you see loads of people walking up to the slides and you think that its a long wait, but the queues are always active so your never stood still.

Ever been to Disney World?? The lines at Waterworld are a PLEASURE after visiting the "happiest place on earth".

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you. I think Waterworld is a fantastic, much needed attraction for Cyprus. The style of the place is very clever, and it certainly manages to differentiate itself from every other "generic" water park.

Yes fassouri is a big waterpark, but thats really it....

On a different note, can someone tell me when the waterpark in the tourist area closed down?

Re: the "racing type ride" at the waterpark: Did anyone not work out that the heaviest person is usually the one to win!!! I'm fairly light and so most of the time although I get a good start the weight of the others come hurtling past me! Mind you, if you were that heavy you might get stuck - ha ha...!

It’s all to do with physics – think of how much extra energy the fat bloke invested pulling himself up all of those stairs.

Are you calling me fat?  Weight maybe matters a bit. The most important thing though is the way that you keep the handles!
