Why are the Illegal Regime under-declaring the population ? To go further why, in particular, are they under-recording the Illegal Settlers, the extent of Turkish gerrymandering ... ?????

Difficult to know. One theory is the local "councils" might have been pretending there were more TCs than actually existed in order to claim more subsidies from Turkey. It's all very odd. It's not a real country the "trnc" after all - just one big criminal racket. Erdogan didn't call them "parasites" for nothing.

...i read recently that about 17.5% of the working population is illegally doing so in the so called trnc; what does that imply? Have they a vote in Turkey's election?
