Hey secret_girl some people in this site don't know it but syria is just a nice country. It is not like Saudi Arabia or Iran. My economics professor was there last month and he keeps telling us about beautiful Damascus.
By the way are you going to study in Girne(Kyrenia) American University?

reeshahn the correct term for the currently illegally occupied part of cyprus you are referring to is Kyrenia... Just as Constantinople is Constantinople and not Istanbul :)

Just thought id point it out.

Well I know what I said. Firstly Girne is not a name given after 1974. Girne was Girne for turks and Kyrenia for greeks for hundreds of years. If you can look carefully you can see I used both names. Secondly Girne American University is a registered trade mark so the true form is Girne American University.

And about Istanbul you can just make me laugh. I understand if you want to call it Constantinople but it is not even same thing as me calling Girne.
I am also a citizen of the Republic of Cyprus and my birthplace is Istanbul. In all of my Republic of Cyprus IDs it says my birthplace is Istanbul not Constantinople. If Papadopoulos government accepts it as Istanbul I guess you need to accept it as Istanbul too.

Reeshahn, the deluded ramblings of Complexity can only mean one thing: He/She obviously has access to the worlds one and only fully functional time machine and has somehow managed to transport him/herself to a date somewhere before March 28th 1930 - the date upon which Contantinople was OFFICIALLY RENAMED Istanbul.

I refuse to associate with you on a political level since this is where it is going...

Perhaps we can talk about cartoons or orange juice? :|

Complexity, I take it from the nature of your posts that your screen name is an attempt at irony?
