What kind of property? Is that property for sale? Do you have the name of the developer/owner?

Hi Deb and Paul

There are loads of questions, to start with:

Is this off the plan or a new build?

If the latter does it have Title Deeds?

Hi Deb and Paul

Get an independent solicitor - not one the developer recommends. Ensure your Purchase Conttract includes:
penalties for late delivery
money held back against snagging
a cap on Cancellation Fees (your lawyer will understand)

Also, push for a guarantee of more than one year; I assume you saw samples of their work and feel assured about their financial viability?

mkae sure your lawyer sees the Title Deeds, Planning Permission and Building Permit
