“Cyprus File” Findings Delivered to Greek Ambassador Papaioannou

A delegation of the Parliamentary Committee delivered the final findings of the Cypriot House of Representatives concerning the “Cyprus File” to the Ambassador of Greece in Nicosia, Vassilis Papaioannou, last Monday. The Greek Ambassador thanked the delegation of the Committee and stated that he will do anything needed so that the findings arrive in Athens, at the Hellenic Parliament. He also congratulated the Committee for the valuable work it has accoplished. The President of the Parliamentary Committee on the “Cyprus File”, MP Mr. Marinos Sizopoulos expressed the disappointment of the Committee’s members that it was not possible for them to have access to the correspondent documents, which the Greek Parliament and other services of the Hellenic Republic had in their possession. As he mentioned, in such a case, the work of the Committee would have been supported, that is to say the verification of the reasons which led to the betrayal and the tragedy of 1974. As a result, the findings would have been more precise than the present ones.

I am still asking why is greece not releasing the cyprus file so we can know the whole story...is it an unreasoble request?...nope since the cypriot government is asking the same of what i am aksing...
