How can a decent football loving bloke play truant to watch it? :?

Lots of blokes taking their other halves out for drinks and dinner tonight, but only to places showing the game! Most places were fully booked from last week!

Valentine’s dinner with a sports screen? I’m a dead man! :?

I also agree that DT is a @#!$%^*!, especially leaving you at home on Valentines Day!

He only puts APOEL in front of his boyfriend...

You're the girlfriend.

The situation is as follows, as far as injuries go we're missing out on the central defender Oliveira. Everyone else is in.

Lyon had a nasty surprise in store for APOEL when they refused to allow the team to train on the pitch they'll be playing on due to their concern that coupled with the freezing weather the pitch will get damaged for match day. They knew this for days but failed to let APOEL know so that they could plan accordingly and arrive earlier for a noon training session rather than the evening one.

Other than that its fucking freezing and we're hoping for the best. My personal prediction is 1-0 or 1-1

On the 7th of March and at a most likely packed GSP stadium, APOEL will need to score two goals more than their French opponents Lyon to qualify, or just a 1-0 win for a chance via extra time and/or penalties to reach the Champions League Quarter-finals.

But can they do it? Their defense is near perfect and definitely the best we’ve seen in the tournament this year but their offence is seriously lacking!

Manager Ivan Jovanovic has figured out the difficult art of NOT conceding goals but has failed miserably in securing skillful forwards who master the equally difficult art of scoring!

Time and money hasn’t been a problem for Jovanovic this time round because he certainly had plenty of time from the last Group stage match to loan or purchase a deadly duo of strikers; those on par or just above Ailton are certainly not expensive, so the most likely culprit of his serious miscalculation is his mediocre ambition!

It’s a sad case of a full-hearted team let down by a half-hearted manager! :?

Can Arsenal beat Milan by 5-0 at Highbury? :?

Only in Deniz’s dreams…

I’ll bet had APOEL traveled to Italy they would’ve conceded just one goal!
