Why do the Paphites have to attend Elementary School for 7 instead of 6 years?

In Paphos they speak Paphitika!
There are two sides to Paphos. The richer more developed South and the area from Stroumbi and northwards of that to Polis. These areas are inhabited by weirdos with darker features and it is these people that are inclined to abandon their country of birth for "imperialist" Britain! South Paphites are too scared to venture north because they still conduct ritualistic human sacrifices and practice cannibalism there as well as drink warm beer in the Pegeia area.
A most uncivilized part of Cyprus!
