I will now ask a silly question. What does RTFM mean?

RTFM= Read The Fucking Manual

You asked a question, you got the answer, what's your problem?
Why the insult?

B25 - I didn't ask the question of you, as I already told you. Why did you find it necessary to reply to this question on someone else's behalf?
If you cannot post without bad language on my thread, then I will not make you welcome.
If you have trouble understanding this, there was a benchmark where I was employed. It said...

'It must be capable of being understood by an eight year old or a reader of the Daily Mirror'

Dunno what you problem is buster, but you asked a question and the 'F' in RTFM stands for the word I used. Now if you cannot take that as an adult, you must be an 8 year old.

Now get a life and grow up. FFS or do you not know what that means either?

have you tried going into Options in IE and resetting the home page to say Blank, or to your CY provider's home page eg the CYTA DSL Access page?

Go to… “Control Panel” > “Add or Remove programs“

…and remove anything in that list related to O2 and then restart Windows.

Are you anywhere near Nicosia?

supporttheunderdog and Get Real. Thank you both for your helpful suggestions. I will try them shortly.
No, the roadsigns tell me that I am 136km from Nicosia.
I must ask you both do you detect there is a flea about, terribly small and a minor irritant?

Still no joy. Am thinking of looking in 'Command Prompt?'
