"We will connect the Somali people to the rest of the world....." an official from Turkish Airlines, Faruk Sazar, said after landing.

The Cypriot maritime authority has a very bad habit of confiscating everything it sees so if they come across any Somali pirates they’ll just pack them into containers and place them in piles at a vacant plot and left to boil in the scorching summer. That's how Cypriots invented bastourma and shiromeri!

Phoenician city of Salamis??? Good Lord man. The city founded by Tefkros? who was the brother of Ajax? both being the sons of the king of the island of Salamis in Greece at the time of the Trojan war?

Sounds worse than I feared. With all the ammo they usually carry the explosion will be even more devastating than that of Mari. As for Pastourma I prefer that made of Camel.

The Cypriots always mean well! They safely pack away that which they do not understand until an expert comes from overseas to shed light on the matter.

A bunch of little Negroes waving sticks and guns from a shabby fishing boat would confuse the daylights out of the Cypriot maritime people so they would have no option but to pack them for later retrieval and kick start the investigation process.

Of course, the process may take between 3 to 5 years if the paperwork is not lost and the government doesn’t change, by which time the Negroes will have turned into shiromeri! :?

we have heard the annexation thing before. hasn't happened and will not happen. GR I believe posted the relevant geneva convention on the issue. the best the TC's can expect is another decade of status quo
