How much to charge a nanny?

Hi,

I am relocating to Cyprus (Limassol) in a couple of weeks. I will have to employ a nanny to look after our girls as I am trying to set up a business.

Does anyone know where to get a nanny from and how much it would cost? It would be a full time job.

Hi Claudia

If they live in, a maid would cost between £150-£250pm for 6 days a week.

Even at CY£ it is almost slave labour LOL! However, you also have to pay Social Insurance contributions, a return air fare (once every 2 years) and lodge a Bond with the Deaprtment of Labour
