Don`t know if the title is right for the question at hand, but I`m not sure how to otherwise put it.
Here goes: both my sister and brother were born in Cyprus back in 1977-78 to non Cypriot parents, both were issued with Cypriot passports as babies and toddlers. The family left Cyprus around 1998. The passports were not renewed and have since been lost.
We have no recollection of passports numbers nor do we have their original birth certificates, the question is, can they renew their passport at all after so many years, and how should they go about it?
