does anyone know what it is called?

the dance where you pin money on the bride and groom. Thereby hiding entirely their clothes with paper.

i thought there might be a special word for that dance / that moment.

ps its certainly a great incentive to get married...

The pinning is skipped now. Money are given in envelops. The guests of each wedding can be several 1000s. The ones that get married can make many thousands pounds profit which is much more that could be pinned on their clothes :D

maybe london cypriots lag behind the new customs in cyprus.

i went to a wedding last year and they did it. here in the UK.

i just thought that this being a custom, it would have some sort of name.
