Not odd at all. The Imperialists left alone the regions which had the least easily obtainable mineral worth. But they certainly took the healthiest tribesmen for slavery from these places and such a loss takes time to recover from.

200 years???

Meanwhile in Africa slavery of the old traditional variety continued in small pockets through the second half of the 19th century and into the 20th century; it was not, for example, finally outlawed in northern Nigeria until 1936.
BBC

Nigeria was still under British colonial rule until 1960 - hence Britain was responsible for slavery in Nigeria until at least 1936 before it became illegal (but probably still practiced by mineral miners etc).

And Nigeria has since discovered vast oil wealth... yet it is still one of the most corrupt shit holes in the world.

Oooo, you are naughty! I bet you say that about all your lost colonial holds!

research suggests that between about 1550 and 1850 close to 13 million Africans were taken out of Africa to the new world, principally to Brazil and the Caribbean - only about 1/2 a million went to North America (where importation but not ownership was banned in 1807): I am not aware if anyone has ever worked out how many were taken out out of East Africa for the Islamic world, and Ottoman Empire.

what is overlooked (and I think the analysis in one post about the local rulers engaged in the Slave trade not knowing what the slaves were for was flawed) is that Slavery was endemic within Africa itself with many Africans owning slaves.including these local rulers who were selling slaves to to the European and Arab Slave traders.

Slavery did however die out in Nigeria as British influence grew but as that process did not effectively start until 1861 with the formal annexation of Lagos and was a slow process where the hold on parts of the country was tenuous, so it took. time to abolish it, in particular in the Moslem North.

Most Sub-Saharan Africans appear to be of inferior mental level than most other people.

What if a certain 'elite' (i.e. Zionists) can cause future generations to 'evolve' into people of inferior mental level? In this way, the Zionist 'elite' will be able to control and exploit the whole planet more easily. New World Order. Its vehicles are Multiculturalism, Globalization, Homosexuality, Anti-Christianism, Financial Crisis, etc.

...i suppose you agree, it's the Zionists who created the Nazis and the Communists, America too. and i bet they have been replaced by the Chinese, as they replaced the Greeks originally; is that it? do you actually believe that a race can be inferior, that you are superior, are you a Zionist too?

Simple statistics can tell a lot RW.

I think Nixon said this also, arent you proud of yourself for having the same mind as Nixon.....

Below is an article of African Americans receiving PHD's and the exponential increase in recent years

http://www.jbhe.com/news_views/50_black ... grees.html

"..In 2004 African Americans earned 1,869 doctoral degrees. This number has increased more than 9 percent from a year ago. Black doctorates now stand at the highest level in history.

Since 1993, when we began to publish JBHE, a host of events have caused us to publish a steady flow of disappointing news. Yet recent years have seen some indicators showing steady and impressive progress for African Americans in higher education. Overall black enrollments in college and in graduate school have shown solid improvement. But probably the most impressive gain achieved by blacks since the early years of JBHE is the large increase in doctoral degrees awarded to African Americans..."

Afr. Americans live in a country operating under a 'white' system.
