Re Bordo,

The RoC never asked for it. They never mention it. They don't even want it.

On the other hand, Duvetoiletglue keeps talking about supplying water to an entity he does not even recognize, in exchange for the gas that he recognizes belongs to the unrecognized entity that he is also trying to steel. The thieving fruit loop.

The positive aspect of this is that there will be more water for you boys. If it comes. You can woooooooooooooosssssssssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh in it.

I'll just borrow your sentence, replace water with gas and post it back to you, so here goes...

dont worry your little mind the GAS is not for you. you do not have the resources to pay for it. you are not having it free. what do you think this is charity.

You like that useless Turkish imbecile?

ehem ehem, let me just point out a few difference between your statement and mine if may be allowef.

difference 1. now, this is in 3 parts.
a. the gas does not all belong to you, 30 percent belongs to the tcs whether you lik it or not. that is by international law you signed in 1959.
b. it will be enforced by military means. and we have the protector armed and ready and waiting for you to make another stupid move like you boys did in 74.
c. you boys are just too stupid to learn from your past mistakes. none of us are perfect but you take the biscuit when it comes to stupidity.

2. this point is just in part. the water does not belong to you in any shape or form. it is terggish water and hence as your archmasterbatesbishop said, rather then drink terggish water, he would rather have you die of thirst.

and there is my reply if i may be allowed to utter a word or two.

Where does the percentage of 30 per cent come from? The 70-30 deal was for the civil service as I recall.

There could be a per capita share of the profits for ALL citizens of Cyprus. We are not intelligent enough to implement such a cunning announcement and see the Turkish avarice collapse. Politicians on all sides want to retain control and manipulate the situation, create additional buraucracy and "positions" for themselves and their kin, and this includes the TC politicians.

A per capita share in CASH would dissolve all such bullshit and would make every Cypriot a fanatic supporter of a businesslike exploitation of the gas resource.

To go one step furthter and nearer to the Norwegian "model", the cash payments could be diverted to an investment system, backed by an internationally chosen auditing team (but excluding Greek, Turks and Cypriot administrators) and all money and proceeds invested be exempt from tax. Those that decide to spend their money immediately on consumer stuff will be taxed for earned income.

Announce such a plan and see the reaction. It would be sooooo revealing of everyone's true intentions. I have a hunch that Cypriots would love it though.

No such thing was ever signed. It’s all in your head but I’ll tell you what you *did* sign… that establishing a breakaway state on Cypriot territory is high treason punishable by death.

You ain't got a military and Turkey has no rights over anything Cypriot.

Quite the opposite... you should've never set foot here in the first place. Now you will be eternally punished for desecrating Christian land.

Not interested anyway! These days Cyprus has enough desalination plants to flood you stupid.

i cannot believe what i am reading. the deceleration in 83 is not legal or recognised internationally. on the other hand 1959 agreement is. it really is so simple. and terggy is the guarantor of all roc rights. she will protect you and the tcs. trust me just like she did in 74. if she did not come to your rescue in 74 your goose was cooked.
