The report linked makes it look as though the water is already flowing and the only missing part is the distribution to fields and households.

That aside, the engineering aspect is the interesting part. The pipe laying is a one sided operation, starting from Turkey and extending to the south. And the one ship carrying out the work has left. Was there ever any sign that it was a two sided affair with pipe laying from Cyprus and a join up of the two ends in the middle?

Still mystified why even in the interim period tankers are not used. According to the reports the receiving infrastructure is ready in Cyprus, so water could be put in the receiving pond and utilised now, and that would be a test of the distribution network.

They've told us the end point dam on the Cyprus side, but I can't find anything about the pipes that distribute it to fields or anywhere. It's purpose is to serve from the plain of Morphou across to Famagusta..... But i can't find any information on the construction anywhere apart from the same text over and over Containing those town names

Well with all the hot air about the start point and end point, I'd expect a bit of pomp and ceremony as to where these mythical pipes will be supplying to. Are there and villages, and towns? Maybe a route? You'd think they'd be falling over themselves to put the information out there.

If theres some straight through my land, they didn't get my permission.....!
