Water surplus in Antalya, according to VP!

I have been to the location in the video couple of times in the last few years, which is located between Antalya and Belek. The Antalya region is a very high terrain and mountainous area not far from the coast, so whenever there is a rainfall in these mountainous terrain, most of the water runs off into the Med as shown in the video. This is the water that cannot be captured in a reservoir and it's not water the people of Antalya throw away because they have too much of it. There is a river very close to this location by several miles called “Aksu” in the small town called by the same name, which translate to mean “Pouring water”, that also runs into the Med, just as most rivers do around the world, that eventually they run into the sea. It does not mean they have water surpluses just because the water finds it's way to the sea eventually. It is obvious VP's world is based on what he sees on videos to try and make propaganda and not give real facts. I guess he did not see the huge mountain range sitting on top of the Antalya region. What a fool!

Well as the Supply will be Zero... it follows that Demand and Price will also be Zero.

...hang on bill, reports come from Lebanon that they wish to trade in water by pipe or by boat. Cyprus may buy its water at a reasonable price afterall, as Lordo says because of healthy competition and the Law of Supply and Demand.

The Lebanon water to CY story is as bird-brained as "su temin projesi" ... imho file.

The real significance of the recent talks with the Lebanon is the understanding that some of the Lebanon's gas will go to Vassilikos.

Prime example of the rubbish Kikapoo posts...he peddles his version and makes stupid people believe him for example "pouring" in place of white, if a region needs water it harnesses the surplus therefore you can decide for yourselves whether the water gushing into the sea is surplus or not.....no need to be sheep.

"Aksu" by itself doesn't mean very much to give a direct translation. "Ak" can be white, pour or flow and "su" is water, so take your pick in how you want to make an indirect translation of the word "Aksu". I chose one and you chose another. This is not a class for literary Turkish lessons here on the CF. What does the indirect translation of the word “Aksu” what ever it may be have anything to do with your claim that Antalya has a water surplus and that they are pouring the surplus into the Med, you fool?

...ah, white as in spray, such a poet, the person who named such a river, rare enough to warrant such a name, compared to the other water, in what are called rivers, that flow into the sea. still sounds like bad management, or lack of it to me, when it comes to the topic at hand; bragging, doing nothing but wait for a pipeline to appear, inept as People themselves, your so called occupation regime.

Yes, it's funny isn't it, how in the Med it's "bad management" to let rivers flow in to the sea or even to let them loose to recharge the aquifers, whereas one of the delights of living in our northern climes is a trip to the coast to see the estuaries discharging in to the sea, our huge tidal ranges exposing the land and then covering it again a few hours later in a wondrously dynamic and ever-changing landscape.
