Cyprus Airways is now offering e-tickets. For now you can get e-tickets for and from Paris, Moscow and Beirut. Here is what cyprus airways say in their website about e-ticket:

What is an electronic ticket?

It is an electronic version of the conventional paper ticket. You make your booking as usual, but your ticket is no longer printed on paper. Instead, it is stored in our reservation system as an electronic ticket or e-ticket. As no conventional paper ticket is issued, you will now receive a trip summary and receipt, as well as the legal notices, by fax, email or from our Sales Offices if you choose to make a personal visit.

What are the advantages of an electronic ticket?

u It’s fast. You no longer need to pick up your paper ticket at the sales office or the airport. When you book an e-ticket, you’re ready to go.

u It’s safe. As soon as you book an e-ticket, we store your ticket in our e-ticket database. Therefore an electronic ticket cannot be lost or stolen.

u You can change your flight shortly before departure (subject to availability and charges which may apply)

What do I need to check-in?
u Printout of the trip summary and receipt

u Valid passport and visa (where required)

u For tickets purchased with credit card, the credit card with which payment was made

What is a Trip Summary and Receipt?

Instead of receiving a paper ticket you will receive a Trip Summary and Receipt which contains a booking reference and details of your flight. It replaces your ticket, with all your details being stored electronically by us. For security and immigration purposes, we strongly recommend that you retain a copy of your e-ticket confirmation throughout your journey

What happens if my receipt is lost or stolen?

Unlike with paper tickets, this is not a problem. We can provide you with a new receipt.
