If they want to breed we let them breed because we want their numbers preserved and when there’s too many the excess get run over and that’s how we preserve the delicate balance that has existed in Cyprus for a long time.

The many feral cats are necessary to keep mice, rats, locusts, snakes, cockroaches, and other undesirables in check.

It’s delusional to assume that feral cats need you or that you are going to save this country!

Tough luck. I brought two orphaned feral kittens home and have raised them as pets. I will play Mother Teresa all I wish, than you.

 Your cruelty knows no bounds! Those two juicy kittens would’ve made a nutritious meal for a young feral stud who would’ve gone on to impregnate 10-15 fine females!

Mother Nature is the only reliable manager of the animal kingdom but man never learns…

Cyprus has really changed....when I was a kid we used to take kittens(the really cute ones) up on top of a house and throw them of the roof while another kid would try and catch, he usually missed, or if we found an old rusty barrel we would place the cute kittens in it and roll it down the hill, "meow"..god forbid if we got our hands on lighter fluid and some matches...."meow"..

We haven’t changed at all mate, it’s the Brits who are bored of badger and fox culling and now want to become “conservationists” in Cyprus!

I tell you wot.....

You wouldn't try trapping the Feral cats in Lemythou ..the Bas*ards up there trap you!!!

I'm sure the big buggers are crossed with a Puma or something...Bleedin' hell they'd toss you off a roof given half the chance.

(For the benefit of GR I said Toss you off the roof - not toss you off on the roof  )
