as gc do not seem to favour bbf is it possible for ansasiades to ask to change peace plan to another type perhaps a unified zone.

I’m pretty sure that nothing is going to happen this year. We’ve got far too many urgent issues to deal with and they’re gonna use up the whole year and beyond.

that was not the question. the question is very simple i will reask it. can anastasiades say i no longer want bbf lets look at another option. is that simple.

Of course he can. The BBF was a Makarios suggestion for the sake of goodwill I think (first) back in 1975, and one can withdraw a suggestion just as easy as it was made.

Was there anything signed on paper and can be just torn up?

Why not? Erdogan & Co. have really been pursuing partition. A BBF is a concession by the RoC to facilitate a solution.

The UN typed it all up very nicely and gave out copies of it... I've got it somewhere but I can't be bothered finding it.
