...they wanted to invest very heavily in Greece, because Cypriot banks feel the big country that you go to to make your investments and to help out if in trouble is Greece, you know its the 'motherland' so to speak, and that was the big mistake....

What a load of codswallop. Bankers are not humanitarians or charity workers. They gambled that they could get rich pickings from interest rates against Greeks, like all the other sick hedge fund banker gamblers - and Merkel bit them! Bastard bankers and those profligates who support them by propagating their sadistic PR images of "mercy banking", deserve utter contempt!

It highlights what a dangerous country Greece is to Cyprus and the realistic threat that these treasonous grecophiles pose to our Cypriot existence.

It’s what I’ve been telling you people for so many years!

Never mind the facts, just feed your Greek-hating frenzy.

Suddenly everyone loves the bankers. Did they share their bonuses with you? Did they build schools, hospitals? Or did they line their pockets and re-invest abroad?

Bank of Cyprus had less than 2.5% investor relations in Greek banks - where did all the rest go?

My friend, Miltiades,

So far you have shown to everyone that you are a generous and forgiving person, a good quality to have as a human being, as I too applauded you for doing a good deed to someone you had trusted and have now accepted kissing off your 1,000 Euros to her. This does not mean however that she is a nice person just because she has written you a hard luck story with an apology. As matter of fact, you can't trust her anymore no matter what she says. Now that she has seen that you are a forgiven person and that you really don't need money as much as she does, she will be coming back for more in ways that you will want to become her and her kids "protector" and you for her as her "sugar daddy". Beware my friend. She has already proven what a conniving kuntish she can be, and you have already forgiving her for her behaviour only few days ago in which she had devised a plan in how to deceive you and take your money, I would keep well away from her if you do not want to be taken for a ride by her again and again. She may even pay you back the 1,000 Euros she has basically stolen from you just for you to let your guard down. She will be coming after for more, much more that just a 1'000 Euros this time. Women have many "weapons" to get a man to do what they want a man to do. You should perhaps thank your lucky stars that you have only lost a 1,000 Euros to this woman. I can see much worse loses ahead if you are not careful.

Take care my friend.

At least if he got a ride out of it, it wouldn't have been so bad :) :)

Thank you my dear friend for your wise words. The same what my young lady from Belarus told me after relating my experience to her.
I also think that Maria, having "succeeded" once, and having been forgiven, she is more than likely to lay another ..trap, she will use her femininity and beauty to entrap an older guy who has already shown that he is a soft touch.
She is 36 years of age, so older than my lady by 5 years and not as gorgeous as my ....blonde !!
We exchanged a number of texts and emails, hers full of remorse and mine encouraging and forgiving.
Its a very low down way she chose to extract financial help from me, I honestly believe that had she been honest from the start and had told me of her plight I would have offered help without even been asked.
Her late husband whom I knew over a very short period of time was in my opinion a descent guy and a caring husband and a father. I would have done it for him and his children.
I forgave Maria but I shall never forget the devious means she used in order to extract money from me.
I have a feeling that she may very well try it on again in the not too distant future....
ps. I did not get a ride and neither would I ever have contemplated such a move, she was the wife of a mate.
Take care my friend.

No, you are wrong. "Ένοχος" (male); "Ένοχη" (female).

My money is on the Belarusian emptying Milti’s bank accounts faster than the Greek by the end of the year.

NB: Note to punters… I now accept bets: :D

2:1 Belarusian blond gets the lot.

4:1 Both women suck him dry in turns. (and I’m not talking about a blow job)

7:1 Greek blond gets the lot.

12:1 Milti’s children step in for an estate takeover.
