We are a new restaurant management company, taking over an existing restaurant-club-bar operation on Makenzy Beach - Larnaca.
This will be a fun and exciting operation in Cyprus!

We are in the process to hire a new staff, and starting with the Head Chef!
Your role is very important, and Im sure you will enjoy the new environment.

Head Chef (Kitchen Manager)
We are proud to announce the opening of our restaurant club in Larnaca on Makenzy Beach, and are looking for our very own head chef!
(Expats, EU welcome) :)

The Job Purpose
To effectively manage the kitchen team in order to support the standards of food production. To control and manage the food cost in line with the budget, source ingredients in accordance with our Company’s sourcing policy and control production and portions in line with agreed specifications.

We are looking for a professional chef (male or female) to work in our restaurant-club.

This is a Full time job.

The successful applicant must:
-Be able to create a menu, and know how to run a positive environment inside the kitchen.
-Create and or update existing menus.
-Must be able to spot problems and resolve them quickly and efficiently, maintain a level head, and delegate many kitchen tasks simultaneously.
-The chef is also charged with maximizing the productivity of the kitchen staff, as well as managing the sous chef whom are directly below them in the chef’s chain of command.
-Maintaining impeccable personal hygiene as well as high work and safety standards in the workplace is incredibly important for all chefs, and the head chef is expected to set an example for his staff below him or her.
-The head chef will have worked their way up the kitchen hierarchy in many different chef roles before assuming this particular title.
-Have great attention to detail, and an ability to keep the kitchen in good working and clean order.
-Be creative and love to try new fun & healthy recipes.
-Be mobile in order to keep the kitchen stocked with supplies.
-Speak English fluently (knowledge of Greek and or Russian is fine)
-Have the ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
-Demonstrate dependability and punctuality.

Willing to start ASAP, Salary will be discussed upon experience.
