hello every body,

To celebrate the 14 July, The Alliance Francaise of Limassol is organizing a “Petanque Tournament” on the Dasoudi beach (opposite KEAN), in Limassol.

Come to play with us on Sunday. A lot of prices to win (week-end accommodation for 2 at a Sea-side hotel, vouchers, gift basket…).

The number of participants is limited so kindly book well in advance by calling the 25 877 784 or by sending an email to [email protected]

You can find hereby attached the rules of the game in English and in Greek.

The Greek gymnasium curriculum covers NOTHING outside of Greece (real or imagined but mostly the latter) and that’s why their graduates are so ignorant of European history.

All the things we had covered in secondary school including the storming of the Bastille, Bismarck, Garibaldi, the Crimean war, the Austro-Hungarian empire, the unification of Italy, etc, is completely unknown to them! :roll:
