Herodotou in Episkopi are agents for Stihl and do servicing, although I think they send them to Nicosia to be done.

The problem is just to get this spare for this model of chain saw. STIHL In Nicosia says, the 026 was never sold in Cyprus, too expensive cause it is a professional machine, so no spares. :cry:

Thanks Robin, but I think the delivery from USA takes weeks, we try to avoid a delivery from Germany cause it's urgent. I'm afraid we have no option to buy it from there....

You think carb spray could be an idea? Don't know what Stihl in Nicosia did......

Might be worth a try, very readily available here in GB. Lots of makes available... STP, Wynns etc. Guess any motor factors in CY would have it. Costs about £GB5 a can. Spray it in bursts through the air intake with the motor running.
