Marathon Runners in Turkey Banned from Running

This one just has to go in the jokes section.

How can a Turkish Minister ban running during an International Marathon on a bridge across the Bosphorus, a bridge built to carry tens of thousands of cars and trucks and one presumably designed to withstand earthquakes... ???

They are trying to run before they can walk. Marathons are for civilised people. :wink:

Let them swim ... or better still, get better bridge-builders! :lol:
