The fact is the TC community saved both GC and TC alike from the nightmare of being ruled by and from Greece today. You should be thanking us for that.

Of course the present is not a nightmare for you. You've set up home in GCs' properties.

The present for us is far from ideal but it is also undoubtedly better than it would be had enosis been achieved. Having saved all Cypriots from the madness that was and is enosis, we still strive to maintain and protect our rights to self determination within our own homeland, having already secured yours for you against your own madness.

No you have not saved anyone from a nightmare. You've just helped yourselves to GCs homes and property. That is all Turks have ever done. Stolen the land of Greeks and others. The nightmare is of your own making, the nightmare is that perhaps one day Turks might actually have the same rights as other peopel instead of the bigger rights they think they deseve.

Tell me this ... would the Greeks have ousted 200,000 GCs from their homes?

An African Greece enosis. Makes perfect sense to me.
They share a lot of common ground.

The (racist) ravings of a fanatic. I expect nothing less from you GIG.

10 years before any TC had 'stolen' any land from any GC, a group of illegal paramilitary thugs, many of which were run out of the GC run interior ministry, in broad daylight went to the place my uncle worked (Barclays bank) and took my uncle by force, murdered him and dropped him in a well - and they did this all in the name of ENOSIS. This is the plain truth. Of course we TC forced you to kill us in this way all so that we could 10 years later 'steal your land' and at the same time abandon our own. Pathetic.

And once more for the record I am not a Turk. I am a CYPRIOT. Get it ?

I'm truly sorry whenever anyone is killed and some innocent relative is left mourning their parting. We don't know what paramilitary activities your uncle was involved in and I don't think we need to speculate for the sake of this discussion. But you have brought up this one killing (and I hope you do not deny that GCs were killed by TCs for taksim) as some excuse for Turkey coming in and killing thousands of GCs and taking the homes of 200,000.

Are you telling me that one murder of a TC is justification for taking half a country?

But, you have failed to answer my other question: Would Greece have taken the homes of 200,000 GCs or even taken any homes of TCs when the whole point was to stop Makarios having stronger ties with Russia?

Disgusting. My uncle was not involved in ANY paramilitary actives at all and you ARE speculating just by suggesting it. Disgusting. He was an ordinary man, well respected in the community by both GC and TC alike, who was simply trying to support his wife and three children and was murdered because he was a TC.

I brought up this specific killing (one amongst many and yes some committed by TC against GC) in the face of your racist bullshit suggesting the Cyprus problem was caused by and is all about 'thieving turks wanting to steal poor innocent GC land'

If you were able to get your head out of your ass you would not even need to ask this question. Just go and READ respected partial accounts of how the 'Greek Muslims' in Greece have been treated there (you can start with human rights watch). The idea that TC would be today better off having lived under Greek rule from the 1960's as a result of enosis being achieved back then is just yet another example of the degree to which you will simply say 2+2=7 when it suits your agenda.

But you brought him up as justification why Turkey should have invaded 10 years later and taken the homes of 200,000 GCs to give to Turks.

So why don't they give the GCs' land back then?

No, I want YOU to answer it. But you cannot. You already know Turks fare better under Greeks than under Turks. Look at the mess around you ...

Enosis with Greece was a right of Cyprus and the British knew that. Which was the only reason they brought Turkey into the equation.

Just yet more proof that you will happily and readily scream that 2+2=7 if it suits your agenda - regardless of any actual reality.
