Is the beef against CM That it sometimes tells the truth, and the truth hurts, because it does not conform to ones own pov? The more so when ones POV may be narrow, and bigoted?

Interestingly the one verifiable correct comment in the article highlighted by Paphitis concerned our very own GR. And no I did not make it. The rest of that article was otherwise very full of speculation and comment by unnamed sources. Let's see what happens when the deal goes for a vote.

Unfortunately, the article and most of the comments were quite flawed!

GR, would not denigrate the CNG, nor would he be so shortsighted to say that the arms deal is a waste of money since the hardware is necessary to protect a trillion dollars worth of assets in the sea which could come under direct threat.

CM commentators also neglect to highlight the occupation and why it is necessary to build solid defences against a foreign aggressor.

Some of the comments are akin to spitting on Vietnam Vets upon their return from war. A disgraceful act against those that serve and risk their lives.

Our military are not cannon fodder. If service is compulsory, then these kids have to be properly trained and armed.

If Cyprus is to capitalize on its good fortune, then it has to show the EU and Israel that it is proactive. Once the assets are deployed, the CNG will enjoy IAF air cover. The best in the world will watch over them and they will work together with IDF Naval Units.

I don't think that GR will be overjoyed having Israel: " The best in the world will watch over them and they will work together with IDF Naval Units."

Of course if Al Qaida was to assume the role of Israel, then he would be deliriously happy!!

I would be lucky to have any of my posts survive there!

Btw Schnowoozer, your posts about Bird Trapping are utter crap. Fancy that, defending the practice and then in the same breath whining about British fast food burgers!

Paphitis I do not usually get involve in one to one conversation and I am neither impressed or put off by wisecracks of the kind you post here. If this is the best you can do you better go back to CM. Your country needs you.

I have noticed that there is a clique with either a vested interest in the occupied areas or an axe to grind that engage in this cheap voting practice, even though the comment is full of feces.

Many of the usual commentators there are hypocrites and have double standards.

what is truth?

Sometimes they may report the truth, other times I have thought that their articles have been shallow, twisted and inaccurate and sometimes, I believe that they engaged in sensationalist reporting.
