Below is a video from a packed meeting with students from somewhere calling itself the "girne american university", which presumably is in Occupied Kyrenia.

A habertv production of students from Turkey at this "uni".

A turkish-speaking friend tells us that these Turkish Nationals aren't too happy with paying "rents" to CYs and with CY and CYs generally and the chap with the mouth is saying and saying it to widespread applause that "we will turn CY into Hell for the CYs."

Can any turkish-speaker confirm this please...???

The only real point he makes is there are some landlords who charge too much. Welcome to the real world. I believe the free market allows the landlords to charge what they want. No he did not, as already been patiently explained to you by zan. He did not say 'the Cypriots' he said 'those Cypriots' with 'those' referring to those Cypriot landlords that charge high rents. Seriously Bill as if we did not have enough real issues to discuss ? Clearly all you are interested in is trying to make any capital out of anything even when there is nothing there, which is a shame because it makes it so easy to dismiss you on those occasions (few though they are) when you do have an actual point worth making.
