A lot of people from around the world admire and follow Cypriot football. We’re in the top 15 of European leagues so it’s gotten pretty serious.

Go to Bettingadvice.com and you'll find HUNDREDS of foreigners who know more about our league than you and I!

Most are APOEL fans, a few Anorthosis because they like the name "Famagusta" (<- sounds cool to foreigners), and many respect AEL because they're usually a pretty tough side of big guys.

It took Zenit (ranked 18th) almost 3 hours of play against AEL before they could score a goal against them!

Ok, we lost 1/6 teams so we’re entering play-off stage with 5 so that’s a good standing. Another good win for Omonia well done!

Their goal was a opportunistic mistake by a defender who tried to head the ball to his keeper and an Omonia player got in between and lopped it over the keeper.
