Ok, people give up. Svetlana is a spy. Our jobs seem so uninteresting compared to that :(

Hi Sotos

<In a previous life to Cyprus> Sitting for hours in cold, unmarked vans waiting for someone to appear, to observe them; wading through reams and reams of paper sometimes not even knowing what you were looking for, making 'friends' with people who bored you...believe me there is nothing glamorous in that world.

Now, it is so much easier, nearly all survelance is electronic; just drive up and park and aim your listening devices at the appropriate building/antaena -- they probably all work '9-5' and have pension schemes now!

Do you have any stories that you are able to tell us Lana, providing it won't get you or anyone in trouble? Or is it totally hush hush in what you do?

How did you get into that field in the first place?

I came here to retire, but at my young age, being active and all that, it was impossible to do nothing. I sound conceited don't I? I'm not its just true.

I do a little bit of Magic for people, but also I Paint and Decorate. I actually LOVE painting. I also bought a flat that I let as a "Holiday Let". So all in all, between those three things, I stay out of trouble........mostly. :D
