Charlie was sued on at least 3 occasions that I read about, and incredibly they won every single time despite clear violations of Hate Speech laws so that’s a total failure (most likely through corruption) of the French state to uphold the law.

I believe it was 12 times, by Jews and Christians as well, and they were cleared on every occasion showing that Charlie Hebdo is not breaking French law.

Don't you find that fishy? 12 times? There's more to this company than meets the eye...

One banner/placard stood out: "I’m marching but I’m conscious of the confusion and hypocrisy of the situation."

That's because the French way of life is about constantly questioning - instead of being absolutists like jihadists.

Hey Tim, high time you inserted both feet in mouth!

Two brainwashed savages walk into the offices of this magazine and indiscriminately murder anyone on sight, then they kill a police officer whilst injured on the ground in the meantine screaming out allahu akbar.

This is the fundamental issue here, barbarians committing murder in the name of a non existent god.

Idiots such as the psycho excuse these murderous acts. To them I say, go blow your useless selves up.

That’s an oversimplified and biased version of the events.

For this incident to have happened two other things preceded:

1. An evil and corrupt publishing company published material in defiance of Hate Speech law.

2. The French state repeatedly failed to uphold Hate Speech laws by providing immunity to this offender and perhaps others.

A fair and square judge will take all these facts into consideration before passing judgment.

As per usual you are full of shit. You, no doubt, would offer equally absurd excuses as to why the Pakistani savages murdered 32 school children, or Bokofuckpots using a 10 year old girl as a suicide bomber. some help psycho, alternatively join your relations out in Syria and blow your useless self up !

It's a French Satire Comic on news and current affairs.

Reminds me of Mad in my younger days.

What is meaningful is the message the French sent to the world. Over 1 million marched in unity.

What you don't seem to get is that this magazine has been sued on a number of occasions and the question of whether Charlie Hebdo is in breach of French hate laws has been tested in the French courts and answered in the negative. The assertion that Charlie Hebdo breaches French hate laws is thus wrong, unless you believe that the courts got it wrong each time.
