Greek migration minister, Yiannis Mouzalas, said “The Visegrád countries have not only not accepted even one refugee; they have not sent even a blanket for a refugee,” he added, referring to the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia. “Or a policeman to reinforce [EU border agency] Frontex.”

The need for the EU to take any decision under Article 26 of the SBC to compel Greece to impose border controls for travel to EU countries rapidly looks to be fading away as one by one EU states are introducing some sort of border control

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3463427/Greece-turning-warehouse-souls-countries-close-borders-migrants-warns-Tsipras-ahead-EU-meeting-today-discuss-restrictions.html

Tragic, very tragic.

I rather thought that you were the one promoting propaganda, accompanied by your utterly shameless lies and distortions of the reality of the EU position on the obligations of Greece to Control its own borders, where despite your blusterings and willful misrepresentations to the contrary, Greece was found in serious violation, where requirements were imposed under Article 19b of the SBC, and where the threat remains that the Council may take steps under article 26 of the SBC to require Greece to impose full border controls, suspending the Schengen right of free movement between Greece and the rest of the EU.

Let me remind you what erolz was claiming and what you were supporting ....

And yet the EU Commission is criticising and threatening sanctions against Greece.

Has the EU Commission sanctioned Greece?

Or, has it sent in more help to the external borders, like I said!

What I and most of the worlds media and Greek government minsters were claiming was

the EU Commission is criticising and threatening sanctions against Greece.

The EU commission did criticise Greece. That is fact. You claimed it had not, that it had criticised Sweden more than Greece by gross and blatant perversion of the reality of which evaluation document the EU commission and the Council were using, as meticulously documented here.

It is also a fact that the EU commission (and then council) explicitly laid out what sanctions were available under the Schengen treaty terms if Greece failed to rectify the identified failings within three months. Call that a threat if you like or not as you like but it is just plain fact that they did this. You on the other hand just made unsupportable ridiculous claims like Greece has no responsibility or obligations re managing it's external borders at all and such responsibilites and obligations lie solely with EU federal agencies like FRONTEX. Absurd nonsense detached from actual reality.

That having done these things so blatantly and been so clearly exposed for having done them, you still are trying to make out that you were right all along just shows the true extent of both your arrogance and total separation from actual reality.

An arrogance and separation from reality that was shown once more here - where you prove that you are actually unable to physically hear a word when hearing it does not suit your agenda and then argue that 'we' can not hear it - when in fact even a computer is able to hear the word.

This then is what you do here on these forums. This is what you have always done here on this forum.

Yes the EU is still threatening sanctions (of suspension from Schengen under article 26 SBC) against Greece - and yes it has sent in more help too, but unless the situation with lack of effective processing of the migrants is adequately controlled by mid-May then the threatened sanction of suspension from Schengen under article 26 SBC may still be applied.

Do you realise how stupid you sound?

The EU has sent in more help and yet it's going to impose sanctions?

Against whom? Frontex or NATO, now ?

You're a broken record. Your lies are spinning out of control.

Your hatred for, and vile defamations of Greece, the only country in the EU that is looking after your muslim brother refugees, is contemptible!
