Can any forum members who are against the illegal occupation of the north of cyprus tell me what they are doing about it ? ie letters, email, phone calls ect to the cyprus and turkish authorities, UN, EU or the scumbag estate agents who are selling off are land every day.

OR ARE YOU ALL TALK AND NO ACTION ?

lysi, can you tell me what you are in favour of? One united Cyprus with proportionate representation? Cyprus uniting and becoming an autonomous state within Greece? Can you tell me what your views are?

If you had all voted 'yes' in the referendum you wouldn't need to be having this conversation now. Varosha would be in Greek hands again and would be undergoing massive reconstruction; Morphou would be repopulated with Greeks; the Turkish Army would be pulling out. People would have started to receive compensation for their losses.

Hi simon, i want all cypriots to be able to return to there homes and land, all property and land that has been stolen and sold on to be returned. ALL FOREIGN troops to leave cyprus this includes the removal of the british bases & un troops.
As for the government well i dont care if we have a greek cypriot or turkish cypriot president , also i want to see a single democratic country with the same rights for all cypriot citizens.
What do you think simon ?

THE UN ANNAN PLAN WOULD NOT HAVE LET ALL GREEK REFUGEES RETURN TO THERE HOMES, THATS WHY THE GREEKS VOTED NO.

macketterry is right. If we had voted yes we wouldn't be talking about the illegal occupation because the occupation would be legal ;)

just got tired of the same arguments.

Wouldn't a person that changes his arguments and beliefs all the time be inconsistent?

good question maria.

on the grounds of incosistency we should have never abanodened the beautiful 12 gods, we should continue to believe that the sun turns around the earth , and europe should have continued enjoying the beauty of the middle ages.

Thats called progress cypezokyli.

Abandoning human rights and democracy, and accepting that the powerful has the right to invade, occupy and exploit the weak it is not progress.

Therefore progressive changes should be made, but we should resist to changes that take us backward.

Lysi, complaining is not going to bring the solution to our problem.

Instead of saying what UN, EU etc should do, why don't we do what we ask from the others to do for us?

Yes, many Greek Cypriots are victimized because of the Cyprus problem. But we are not the only ones. Turkish Cypriots had suffered also. We caused suffering for them as well.

So why don't we start by acknowledging our own mistakes and the crimes committed by of our side?
