Here is a one idea. If the solution happens isn't it right, everyone that has done something wrong on both sides to be set on trial. I mean pre invasion G S burned and shot buses of kids and T C at the invasion did as well. Those who committed these crime's should be sent to trial just like they do to Nazi's up til today. And by the way if there is a solution and this is not on the table every single person who lost someone should riot so they could add this to the solution.

I won't comment on the fact that this post wasn't visible to me until I became Muslim I would say that truth and reconciliation is far better than show trials. Alla none of this may be needed, it has been so long that we may be able to make a fresh start...

I'd say that was an unmitigated disaster. The lies it produced would require further trials ...

It would have been better for South Africa to have removed white man back to Europe, as it would be for Cyprus if we followed the British-inspired solution of removing the TCs to Turkey.

Then, they can apply for legal entry.

I agree! The task was difficult in SA, to bridge centuries of oppression, racial divide and inquality was mamouth. I think in Cyprus it may help as part of a package of goodwill building measures.
To suggest white people are expelled from SA is ridiculous - Me thinks Greek frau is on the drink again.....lol

If you ask the Greek Frau, Turks are synonymous with the devil reincarnated, you can't get any worse. We cannot even agree on the basic facts of our recent history, let alone handle some sort of truth and reconciliation process. Most of the perpetrators would be either dead or on their way out.
