How will you spend Christmas day?

How will you spend the day of Christmas? Do you usually enjoy it? For me it will be family and guests and to say the truth it is more of an obligation than anything else!

Christmas day

Actually, not really any of your answers on the poll. I will be with my husband and a few friends at The Olive Mill in Skarinou for Christmas Day lunch - wonderful! The rest of Christmas is a bit "bah humbug" to me, not having children and the fact that Christmas has lost its meaning (not that I'm remotely religious) and got totally out of hand i.e. expense and giving people presents that they don't really need/want after having spent money you didn't have!

We will go out with the relatives.

GIz33k0, I miss the time when opening gifts was something really exciting!
Nowadays it is harder to get that excited :(

I'll spend it at home with the wife, we've been out for the last two Xmas's, the first year it was great food but no atmosphere, last year mediocre food but a nice atmosphere, this year we've stocked up with Captain Morgan (for me), Cockburns Port and Jack Daniels (for her), Absolute Citron and a lot of Carsberg (for both of us and guests).

We'll go down to the local pub for a couple of drinks at lunchtime, then come home for a good traditional roast Turkey Lunch... and chill out with a few more drinks for the rest of the day :D
I've never had such a laid back Xmas, the kids are off the the Ex-wifes for the day
