The catastrophologists still harp on in the media about the impending doom.

Greek commentators use the positive Cyprus figures for another purpose. To question how the "charismatic" Baroufakis f... up so badly when the grey non charismatic Georgiadis managed so well in Cyprus. Greece is going through its third Memorandum with no sign of let up, Cyprus in two years managed to work through its one and only Memorandum. There is a lesson in there somewhere.

I could be that many long term unemployed people totally lost hope. Especially women and those above 57.

The most important thing… do we now have mechanisms in place to prevent a repeat of the disastrous maneuvers by a handful that led to the debacle? :?

Some super-intelligent analyst once told me that Cyprus was 'allowed' to get rich post 1974 so that people would settle comfortably and not rise up against the enforced division and make a stink that no one was driving the Turks out.

I believe these recent events have been orchestrated with a view to isolating Greece as the perpetual scapegoat for what is wrong with not accepting austerity.

They build our bubbles and they can bust them.

Laugh and the whole world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone ....
