Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Isn't it wonderful that Greece has apologised? Perhaps now Greece might change the laws to favor same sex marriages.

However, your campaign seems to be misguided because many commenters and readers here don't care much about same sex marriages in Greece.If you care about same sex marriages in Greece, then you might want to consider starting your campaign on a Greek forum where Greeks from Greece might actually read it.

Now I know you mean well and want everyone to have the same rights regarding marriage, regardless of their sex. But this is a Cyprus problem forum and the topic is in an inappropriate place. You also have to take the log out of your own eye first so you can see clearly. Then you can remove the speck from your brother's eye. As a start, may I suggest you post on a Turkish forum. To try to get the Turkish authorities to at least apologies for violating human rights laws regarding same sex marriages in Turkey.

Also please start a campaign for Turkey to stop violating international laws and human rights laws in the jurisdictions of her neighbors, where she has no right to do so. I am positive that this will significantly slow or stop the negative comments about Turkey on a Cyprus problem forum and elsewhere. This is really what you want isn't it? And not for some homosexuals to have the right to get married in Greece.
