Cypriots want to be Cypriots, it is the other half, those who want to be "Greeks" and "Turks" that must look into themselves. Cyprus is not for sale, Cypriots are not chattel and they exist beyond the fairy tale of "Turks", and those not "Turkish" call them traitors or "Greek". Maybe "fair" would be a number like twenty percent; for the 7%, if "they" could buy this land, but, how can Turkey be repaid, there is not even enough money to pay Civil Servants on time. Cypriots, Turcophone or Grecophone, will want to live in Cyprus either way, and their rights will continue to be respected. A "Turkish" state as you've described is good for "Turks" only. In any case, in such a constituency, the vast majority of the island being not "Turkish", or more specifically being "Greek", would be prohibited.

For as long as Cypriots continue to consider foreign countries as their motherlands the division and hatred will continue. I know a vast number of T/Cs who consider Cyprus as their trie motherland just as I and a significant number of G/Cs do.In a united Cyprus i would have no problem in living next door to T/Cs or indeed Armenians Russians or anyone else. Let us all embrace our island as our only homeland, let us consider , as I and many more do, that every Cypriot is a compatriot tegardless if whst nloody relugion, or rather mythology, they happen to follow.

In Cyprus the first massacre after the end of Ottoman rule (during which you killed 1000s of native Cypriots) was done by the TCs on June 12, 1958 when you killed 8 Greek Cypriots near Gonyeli. Thank you for your support my dear friend. I hope your post is read by those that are hell bent on distancing us TC's from our true identity. We are Cypriots, this is our homeland and nothing they say or do can change that. It would serve their country better if they embraced us instead of distancing us but will their hatred for anything Turkish allow them to do so? I can only hope.

Didn't you say that the world would laugh if anybody brought up the crimes you committed during Ottoman times? You think the millions you killed are a joke? You think occupying our lands is a joke?
