Who is most likely to post here just to add anti Greek/Cypriot propaganda?

Or to exaggerate one small individual piece of bad news in Cyprus and hold it against all Greek Cypriots and the Republic of Cyprus?

Who is the sly fox that lurks in the background posting only to perpetuate anti Greek Cypriot views and anti Republic of Cyprus exaggerations and distortions?

Your opinions, please.

I'll mention the most recent first.

He hadn't posted for several days. Then, straight after I updated a thread with the news that the Greek fishermen (who rescued some migrants that were set adrift into danger from Turkey) were to be considered for a Nobel Peace Prize for their humanitarian bravery - he posted! His post derailed the thread with some irrelevant, off-topic stuff plus his own comment claiming that the EU Commission was threatening sanctions against Greece. This was a complete lie, but a clever lie as most people would assume it's true given the ramblings from the media. But when challenged he failed to substantiate it with any relevant evidence (because the EU Commission has issued no such threat of sanctions). It was one of his usual crafty lies where he takes some news, in this case noise over Schengen problems, and goes one step too far, exaggerates and distorts, in order to completely demonize.

This fulfillment of his personal anti-Greek propaganda was a particularly gruesome tactic since he was taking away any nice thoughts of possible humanitarian recognition from ordinary folk, something that we would all otherwise applaud.

He couldn't even tolerate a moment of niceness shared by humanity, because it was something good about ordinary Greek folk and he can only tolerate nastiness.

As to whether I post anti Greek / Cypriot propaganda, that's up to you to decide.

In my opinion If your poll had an ounce of integrity or honesty behind it then the question would be 'do you post anti Turkish / TC propaganda' to a greater degree than I post anti Greek / GC propaganda' or not. Your poll is to me clearly designed to be pejorative. To me one only has to imagine the reverse version of your poll to see this. Imagine this for example.

I think (and obviously I am biased) that the differences between us GiG can clearly be seen in the difference between the poll I created and your one here.

GIG, come on now, nobody would expect a G/C, in your case a Greek, to post derogatory anti G/C comments.

I have not noted any comments emanating from Erolz to support your argument.

You must admit that you instinctively brand anyone expressing the slightest criticism of either Greece or Cyprus as a Greece / Cyprus hater. I have posted many times fierce criticisms of certain aspects concerning Cyprus and not least my conviction that I hold Greece accountable for the Turkish invasion of 1974.

I love Greece, the music is my most favourite of all world music, I love the food, I adore the richness of the Greek language , I love its history, its ancient monuments but I do severely criticise corruption, nepotism, selfishness so much in abundance in the Greek world.

So are you saying he was right to take any opportunity to post anti-Greek material (and some lies) even on a thread about some nice news on ordinary, brave, Greek folk helping drowning migrants?

Firstly, my poll has more integrity than yours as we can see who (if anyone) votes!

Secondly, this is a Cyprus forum and whilst Turkey occupies Cyprus I have every right to scrutinize everything I see fit that is posted on Turkey's behalf!

It could be argued that I was offering some balance to your systematic posting only of 'pro' Greek news and avoidance of any 'anti' Greek news. It could be suggested that if you had just replied to my post with 'fuck off my thread is not about that' it would have ended there and that it was your attempt to try and deny that Greece had even been criticised (let alone threatened) by the EU Commission that led to it going on for page after tedious page.

Im not sure that he, Erolz, was posting anti Greece comments out of Greek hatred. You must admit GIG that, for understandable reasons, ie the continued occupation of our northern parts by Turkey, you insatiately post anti Turkey comments.

I have no love for Turkey, I have no time for the west either in supporting Turkeys every act and considering her as a strong ally. The treatment of its own large Kurdish minority is contradictory to her pretence that she supports the Turkish minority in Cyprus.

Let me tell also that the vast majority of T/Cs, real Turkish Cypriots and not settlers, do not want Turkish troops on our soils. I also appreciate the reluctance of many T/Cs to abandon Turkey as they, naturally, see Turkey as their saviour.

My total commitment to my motherland, the island of Cyprus, is also shared by very many T/Cs and not least Erolz. A united Cyprus is not a utopia phenomenon but a reality, if we all embraced our one and ONLY one motherland , our Cyprus, the greatest nation on earth !

You were offering some balance against what? Against some possible recognition of those poor, brave fishermen who risked their lives to save drowning migrants from Turkey?

What sort of mind thinks they must balance some humanitarian news by jumping in with lies and propaganda against a whole nation?
