Much to my surprise my daughter told me that probably the best known, if not the actual best referee in the world, at least when he was active, Pierluigi Collina, was in Cyprus, involved in training for top flight European referees. I am personally pleased to find he is still active in that other refs are learning from him.

We need a few like him in Cyprus football.
