It's clear that this article is only the first warning of complete assimilation. If the TRNC is soon integrated as a Turkish province, the TRNC will be flooded with 1.6million Turkish nationals, which was recently uttered by Erdogan not too long ago!

It makes no difference to Cypriots what Turkey calls it because to us it will always be Turkish-occupied Cypriot land pending liberation.

Turkey can call it its 457th canton for all we care…

Makes no difference to us. Our enemy is the Turkish army and this doesn't change with how you call the occupied areas or how many settlers you bring there. You are just harming yourselves, not us.
