Your beloved Everton and Southampton are allegedly interested in buying him but I have a feeling they'll be disappointed because scoring goals in our premier league is one thing and scoring in England's is quite another!

Btw, I also find it strange that Derbyshire is our league’s top scorer yet nobody in the UK has shown any interest in him but they all want Pieros??

Ok, admittedly Matt is 30 and Pieros 24 but Matt still has a good 3-4 years of playing ahead of him.

Matt Derbyshire was what could only be described as a journeyman footballer in the UK, spending his time mainly between the second and third tiers of English football, he was no good enough to cut it in the premier league in what was supposed to be his prime.

As you said in an earlier post there is a helluva difference between the top tier in Cyprus and the premier league.

Good luck to the guy he has found his level

Our current striker (Romelu Lukaku) is the league's top scorer. He scored twice today. :D

Indeed... I cannot imagine Pieros playing at this level.
