All very good. :)

For sure Cameron and his Cronies were bad for the EU - constantly destabilisng progress on EU unity with their talk of Turkey joining and offering money/bribes and trade to Turkey.

Onward to a United States of Europe with a strong EU Army and Frontex to help remove the Turks from EU territory (and maybe even return the SBAs).

Maybe send in the CNG ..... that should frighten the hell out of them!

I would bet if you had a referendum for all those living/working within the SBA, Cypriot or otherwise, whether the bases should remain as they are or become an integral part of RoC , the 'remainers' would win.

It's just a fantasy of course but I would bet my shirt that if you took a vote across the entire Federation to the effect "If we were not a member of the EU, would you vote in favour of joining?" the results would burst quite a few balloons around here.

Don't bet on it, RH... but anyway it's not up to them because the SBAs are no Gibraltar.
