Yes it is easy for me to say and no I don't think anyone is too worried about the S400s. Our aircraft fly over Syria each day and 24/7. Don't expect this to change under any circumstances.

The deployment of S400s is just symbolic. It's ok to deploy them but to switch the radar on is another matter, which has not occurred. If it is, and they get a lock on any of our aircraft then the coalition will take this as a direct attack whether the missiles are launched or not.

You can say bye bye S400!

So if Pootin has the balls, then just do it and put this to the test.

Oh yes all talk but no action because it is in fact Pootin who will be swimming in his own urine.

It will take us all of 2 minutes mutes to destroy the entire battery and we will even use Russia's radar to do it. It will be Russian radar guiding our missiles.

Just switching them on will be taken as an engagement of our aircraft. What do you think will happen after that? Do you honestly believe the entire Coalition will just retreat from the airspace? Delusional!

The Russians aren't that stupid unfortunately.

No one has declared a no-fly zone yet! What you do when you fly into Syrian air space and attack targets on the ground is illegal and an act of war. If the US declares a no-fly zone without a UNSC mandate that would also be illegal. You should be grateful that Assad/Putin tolerate you and will continue to do so until you again, target their ground forces.

Well then ..... don’t start accusing Assad/Russia of being the villain if they LEGALLY declare Syrian air space to be a no-fly zone and your pilots get an 'symbolic' S-300 or whatever, up the a**e! Or do you really believe that ONLY the US has the right to declare no-fly zones ..... like they did in Iraq and Libya?

You can say bye bye S400

I’ll bet the even the US military will respect the fact that Russia can hurt them ..... badly.

So if Pootin has the balls, then just do it and put this to the test.

Make no mistake .... if your coalition is stupid enough to call the bluff ....... they will suffer. That is the only thing that worries me in Cyprus; AKROTIRI if the Russians wanted to disable the UK contingent to this foreign insurgency (War), they could destroy the runway ........ and the shock wave could break my windows! There are also a lot of families on the base who would not be the target but would no doubt suffer injuries and destruction as collateral damage.

Oh yes all talk but no action because it is in fact Pootin who will be swimming in his own urine.

Well, I’ve seen no sign of that so far. In fact in every instance so far Russia (Putin) has been at least two steps ahead of you donkeys both diplomatically and militarily ..... and that will not change because the US has never before come up against an opponent that is pretty evenly matched on fire power, maybe even one that has superiority in certain areas.

It will take us all of 2 minutes mutes to destroy the entire battery and we will even use Russia's radar to do it. It will be Russian radar guiding our missiles.

As long as that? Your missiles will take off and within seconds Russia will launch ...... they have warned you that this WILL happen because there will be no time to get on the blower to check out whether it is a genuine strike, rather than another accident. Do you think the Russians are stupid?

Just switching them on will be taken as an engagement of our aircraft. What do you think will happen after that? Do you honestly believe the entire Coalition will just retreat from the airspace? Delusional!

I think in your unbelievable arrogance and ignorance you really do believe that your coalition is invincible ? Defensively, the Russians appear to be far more advanced than the US, even the US military admit that, and Russia will be defending!

The Russians aren't that stupid unfortunately.

You better believe it otherwise a lot of your pilots and military are going to die ..... again unfortunate, but that is what happens when people are trained to obey orders without question. I suppose it cannot be any other way. Like civilians, it will not be their fault ........ they will, unfortunately, just be classified as ‘collateral damage’ again like civilians.

Think back in history ...... how many Americans were killed on US soil in both WWI and WWII? Very few ........... Pearl Harbour must have been the single largest loss. How many did Russia lose ..... something like 27 million? The Russians have far more experience of what war really means than the American people, because the US has always fought their wars in some else’s back yard. 9/11 was a wake up call and I think came as a great shock to a nation of people who have been led to believe they were the exceptional people and invulnerable to attack. Unfortunately they believed the propaganda ..... just like you do!

You better hope that no idiot in your coalition gets too hair-trigger happy ........ and makes the fatal mistake, either in Syria or even more so, on Russia’s long borders with Europe!!!!! :x

pootin would have got trigger happy when he decides to switch the systems on.

Once they are switched on, and they radar acquires targets and those targets happen to be our aircraft, then we have no choice but to undertake defensive action which will involve a strike against the S400 battery.

It's pootin's choice whether he wants to choose this path of hostility towards our aircraft. His choice.

So go ahead, try it out and see what happens. What has he got to lose apart from a few S400s?

we respect the fact the S400 can hurt our planes. there is no way we will allow this to happen. so switch them on and force our hand.

As I said on another thread ...... if this happens it will be because YOU enter a legal established no-fly zone under the control of the Syrian government. In which case, YOU are the aggressor and Assad/Putin will have international law on their side when they shoot these aircraft down.
